MORE APRIL INSPIRATION

 Hello Rubber Dance friends.

Gail here today with more lovely inspiration from the design team.  The team uses the monthly moodboard for their inspiration pieces, but we would love you to share anything you make with Rubber Dance stamps.  If you need a little help to get started Dunja has put together this awesome moodboard inspiration for you. 
  You can be inspired by anything on the moodboard; one or more colours, things, shapes, memories it inspires, things it makes you feel, etc. etc..

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. So, here you go - our three challenge colours for June and a not-so-very surprising (although optional) theme: We need to see you using all three colours for your entries. Please check  our simple rules  before you link up You must use stamping, but you do not have to use stamps from Rubber Dance in order to participate. The challenge runs till June 30th. Easel Card With Textured Flowers

Hello.  Welcome.  Gail from the design team here today with a project using the new Textured Flowers stamps.  I loved these the moment I saw them.  Big beautiful blooms.  And many small er stamps for adding leaves and texture.   I decided to make a Twisted Easel Card.  There are many tutorials available but I used this one by Lois.  So here's my card using Textured Flowers and of course, a giraffe .......... I was inspired by the Rubber Dance challenge colours which for June are: I stamped the large simple daisy, masked and stamped two more.  I added the giraffe from African Animals .  I think I'll call her Daisy. I thought it looked a bit empty so I stamped more daisies...... and coloured with distress and d y e inks.  I stamped and embossed three of the doodled flowers and the giraffe, fussy cut and added them to my panel.  I used brads and a Cheery Lynn die cut for the flower centers.  I also doodled a little faux stitching

Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) These fine ladies have bullied me and some of my designers into a blog hop featuring our Sarcasm Superpower stamps. It didn't take much persuation, nor any bribes to speak of. Just mention  "challenge", and we'll be all over you like underfed fruitflies on a brown banana. And that's what the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is all about - a challenge blog with new challenges every other week. Fasten your seat belts and enjoy the bumpy ride!
