ADVENTURE Mixed Media TAGs

Image
Happy Monday Rubber Dance Friends! It's the 30th, the month is almost over. June starts soon and I was taken with the summer theme and seahorses. I have designed two pendants. The base is a die-cut from Alexandra Renke, I die-cut the gel print and then embossed it with the chequered stamp in gold. I added some structure with a stencil.    In the background you will find some die-cut parts. I then glued the seahorses on top, which I also stamped on a gelli print and simply cut out. Add a little decorative stamping in the background. So you have quickly created a beautiful tags.  I hope you enjoy the time, be creative. “Just because” card by Angie Coomber

Image
Hi arty friends, Angie here with a card for you. I started by gathering my materials - my stamps, some old scrapbook paper, some black and white card for matting and a blank greetings card. First I cut everything to size. I stamped some of the images onto scrapbook paper and also on white card. I cut out the images, glued some of the white ones onto the scrapbook paper as the focal image and some of the coloured ones around the edges of the white piece of card. I matted both of these onto pieces of black card just a fraction bigger to give some definition and make sure all the patterns don’t just merge into one. I glued everything together and onto the card, leaving a gap at the bottom for the word stamp. Until next time! Hugs from Angie x Stamps used: Sketchy flowers 3

Atc´s of colorful leaves

Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ?                            I've been playing with   Mixed media marks 1 ,  Mixed media marks 3   and   Sketchy Leaves   to  create a  colorful Atc´s that I hope you like . Very easy to do, we started. We cut watercolor paper to a size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches, if you prefer to work in cm, 6.4x8.9. In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed, and I color the backgrounds with pigments. When the backgrounds dry (we can speed up the process with a heat gun) we will add texture and depth with different inks, in my case I have used distress oxide. To start, I choose a stamp from the  Mixed media marks  , apply the inks, spray water, and stamp, (I'm not looking for definition, I'm looking for a watercolor effect, watery).Help myself with the dryer and go back to stamp with different inks, to continue adding depth and texture. When the layers are dry, I use a stencil and texture paste. On

Sketchy Bird Among the Flowers by Dot Leathbridge

Image
Hi everyone, It's Dot here today with a card to share with you. This one uses Sketchy Birds, Mixed Media Marks 1, Sketchy Leaves and Inky Flowers. The new Sketchy Leaves set has been catching my eye for some time. I really love all the new leaves in this set. It was ideal to pop behind the Inky Flowers  stamps. My biggest conundrum was what words to use! Then I saw these scribble words from  Mixed Media Marks #1. The say something, but because they are scribbly words they are near impossible to read lol. Love it! Here is a closer look at the bird. Each month I have a craft-along session in a  facebook group where I craft in real time, and you can join in with me. If you would like to join me for this card it is happening on the 2nd of June at 10 am (AEST - Melbourne time) The group is called Creative Cardmaking . If you can't make it on the day, the video stays up for 30 days so there is plenty of time for you to gather your supplies and stamps and join in with me. A reminder

Dream art journal inspiration

Image
Hi friends! Lisa today and I'm happy to share with you my new art journal inspiration with some beautifil Rubber Dance stamps!  To start I chose Mandalas stamps and I made some designs with white embossing powder. So I took Distress Oxide pads and I used them like watercolors for the background. I made a little stamping with Mix A Sentiment 3 and black archival ink and I used a little birdie from Sketchy Birds as the focal point of the page. Finally I added a sticker and splatters with black liquid paint. I used these products from the shop: https://www.rubberdance.de/clear-stamps/sketchy-birds-clear-0006/#cc-m-product-14534922233 https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/mandalas/#cc-m-product-14481624633 https://www.rubberdance.de/small-sheets/mix-a-sentiment-3/#cc-m-product-14519570233 I hope you enjoyed my art journal inspiration for you! Mandala Notes Pad by Farida

Hello lovlies, wonderful to have you here again. This time I really wanted to use my new-to-me Mandalas stamp set .  So I grabbed them, some pink-purpelish embossing powders and a piece of light pink cardstock.  Further I thought of creating a notepad, so I grabbed some blush coloured Foil and a bonding embossing powder for creating some more sparkling mandals on an exte piece of paper.   I used some alphabet dies and two pinkish alcohol marker to create some more coloured depth to the alphas.  I love how you can see the foiled mandalas on the alphas and thorugh the colouring they stand out more from the mandala background.  For the final touches I just added some enamal dots and used a binding tool to complete my litlle mandala notepad.  Thank you so much for stopping by. Hopefully I could leave you some inspiration. See you again soon.  Stay healthy and crafty.  Farida
