Hi Everyone, Saadia here with an art journal spread for you. I hope you like it. It's a simple spread, made in a Dylusions square journal. I cleaned my stencils and stamps on this page. I applied a thin layer of white gesso to push things back, painted a heart with acrylic paints and added few marks. Stamped images from  Textured Flowers stamp set  and glued them onto the heart. Added few words from  Journal Words stamp Finished the spread by stamping a border from  Doodle Border 2 set . That's all for now. A reminder that we have a challenge that goes all month on our face book page which you can find  here Thank you for visiting, Take care, Saadia Nawaz . Stamps used:

Hi lovely Rubber Dance friends, it's Gerry on the blog today and I have some multi flower cards. The weather is so depressing lately that I thought we could use some Rubber Dance flowers. And I have a super easy and cool trick on how to multi stamp with the Tim Holtz Stamping Platform, that you will love! I have tried the multi stamp technique on the platform and it works really well and it only needs a small adjustment and you may already have it right at home. So b e sure to watch the video were I explain it all. For the first card I used the  Crazy Flowers 1  to make a filled flower background. I used Distress Ink to colour with an ink blending tool. I have two cards were I used the  Textured Christmas Green  depending on the colours you use i think they can be used all year. With a bit darker colours it makes a great masculine card. Here I used the fun  Textured Flowers  still love this versatile set. And the tri

Cardmaking with Dot

Hi everyone, can you believe that we are heading towards the last bit of January already? Today I have a tutorial to share with you using some of my favourite stamps. This card uses the Small Grungy Butterflies , Old Book Page and Journal Words. Are you nice and relaxed and ready to go? I haven't played with my Brusho's for so long and thought it might be fun to get them out again. Using watercolour card I've sprayed it with water and sprinkled some Brusho's onto it. Then dried. The butterflies from Small Grungy Butterflies and words from Old Book Page were stamped onto the background. And then the butterflies were cut out. I like how the text adds a little extra interest to the grungy wings. I've used the same Brusho colours to make another background and cut it down to a square. Again, there has been stamping from Old Book Page. For some extra interest there has been some stenciling with D

Hello my friends, It’s Majo here today with a little book I made for my friend to use as a technique/material/color reminder. Our new journal stamps just fit the theme. Well, I couldn’t resist using flowers on the cover. You already now, that they’re my all-time favorites. I inked a panel with Distress Inks Victorian Velvet, Fossilized Amber and Tumbled Glass. After stamping my flowers, stems and leaves I fuzzy cut them and added more ink on parts of them to make them stand out from the background. I cut the book cover and also the signatures and the spine. I used the journal stamp on the signatures as well as the little boxes where she can add the colors she used.  Each page on the signature also has one of the little images in the corner according to the colors I used.    I left the left sides of the signatures blank, my idea was to use it for a drawing or a little photo as a reminder. Some close ups and a side view ..
