 Hi friends! 

Lisa today with my new art journal inspiration for Rubber Dance design team


I took a piece of watercolor paper and I used a distress oxide as a watercolor for the background.


I chose Mixed Media Marks stamp set and I used with archival inks.


I added some pieces of stripped papers and a little birdie from Textured Birds stamp set.

For the final touch I made splatters with black liquid paint to add a little contrast on the page.

Hi everyone! It's Susanne writing today. I used Distress Inks together with some of our Crazy Flowers to create the page in this art journal. It's a watercolor journal from Kunst & Papier, it's one of my favourites to use with Ink and watercolors. I didn't use any gesso to prime my page. The flowers are embossed with white powder on watercolor paper. I coloured them in in complementary colours, by dipping them into the Distress Inks, to let them pop from the background. Rubber Dance June Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. So, here you go - our three challenge colours for June and a not-so-very surprising (although optional) theme: We need to see you using all three colours for your entries. Please check  our simple rules  before you link up You must use stamping, but you do not have to use stamps from Rubber Dance in order to participate. The challenge runs till June 30th. Altered Chipboard Butterfly + Giveaway

Bibi here today with a fun project, using the Totem Monarch Poppet chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts . I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project. Rubber Dance meets StarTrish Design!

Hello everyone! It's Bibi here today to show you some awesome stamps that are NOT from Rubber Dance! As a stamp manufacturer myself and the owner of Rubber Dance, it has been years since I went shopping for stamps anywhere else..... However! When I saw that Trish Latimer had launched the first stamps from her own designs, I nearly fell off my chair in excitement!!! Her stamps - which you can see here - are quite big: 12 cm tall (!) and I knew right away that they would be a perfect match with the big flower stamps on Rubber Dance's set  Textured Flowers . I contacted Trish and we decided to do a collaboration..... .... and I'm proud to show you one of the gorgeous artworks that Trish has made,  and y ou can also see her  blog post about it here .
