Birthday Tag by Angie Coomber

Image
Hi arty friends,  How are you? There are a lot of birthdays in our family in April and I have been making a fair few cards. I made this birthday tag as part of a set of gift vouchers for someone who loves the sea. I made a few gelli prints in the sort of colours I knew I wanted to use. I chose 2 of them which I used to cover a #8 tag. Next I embossed some “bubbles” on the top half of the tag. I chose the colours for my sea creatures, stamped the images I wanted and cut them out. I glued some of these on to the tag and used the rest on the pocket tag (which I recently made in a class). I added some white doodling and edged the tag with black Distress Ink, and finally adding some sari ribbon. Hopefully the recipient will like it... Until next time, hugs from Angie x Stamps used: Textured Sea Creatures Textured Fishes

Junk Journal Page Butterfly

Image
Hi, I'm Vero (@Vero.kt) and welcome to today's inspiration. How's everybody ?I've been playing with some of the   Rubber Dance  designs to create a page in my Junk Journal.  I hope you like it.  I have used,  Mix a sentiments 3   , Inky Friends   and   Mixed media marks . I have used different sheets, wrapping paper, notebook paper, silk and hand cut, in the photo you can appreciate them better. Later I prepare these papers to work with wet media, so I apply a layer of clear  gesso, if the one you have is white, it would also be worth it,  I use a dryer to speed up drying, and I apply pigments with a fan brush and make them react with water. On my work table I mix pigments with water and add them to the stamps to be able to stamp and obtain a watercolor effect. Now it's time to stamp with inks in tones similar to the background. And to add depth. imprinted with black permanent ink It is time to sew the edges by machine on a recycled cardboard I chose the butterfly

Sending a Smile - Card with Fariday

Hello lovelies, it's wonderful to welcome you again. Today I made a card using some flowers and making a compliment to the recipient of this card. As I wanted to create a positive and vibrant card, I used yellow as my main popping colour in the cards background. This big yellow blop has been made using alcohol ink.  After letting it dry completely I used some stamps from the mixed media marks #1 stamp set with a yellow ink pad for some tone in Tone visuell interest in the back.  For the focal point of this card I decided to take some flowers. I feel like flowers always a good idea to use along with a friendly card. For this one I choosed to take the ones out of the Garden Cats Stamp set .  This time I used a noline ink pad and coloured in th flowers with my all time favourite colour medium - the alcohol markers.  For glueing them on the card I used some foam tape to get some more depth.  To mat the words (Mix a sentiment stamp set)  for my card's sentim

Rubber Dance Clear Stamps

Image
Hello Rubber Dance friends.   You may have seen Rubber Dance is starting to get some of our most popular stamp sets made up as clear stamps.   We will continue to offer the other stamps in rubber, made to your order, but we are now also carrying high grade photopolymer stamps (made in UK) from our designs!     As we are just a small family business we are running into a capacity limit. Due to Covid and the increasing energy prices we are also not able to hold the convenient price of our Rubber Stamps in the future.  It has become difficult to source good quality rubber at a reasonable price so we have decided to have some clear stamps sets made. As the photopolymer stamps have a production size of A5 we are able to add a few extra stamps to all the sets! For example, the Mixed Media Marks has a script texture in addition to all the original images. Another bonus is, that the clear stamps will stick automatically to an acrylic block! Our new clear stamps have 10% off unti

Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ? I've been playing with  Mixed media marks ,   Round in circles ,  Inky Flowers   ,   and   , Mix a sentiment 2      to create a page in my Art Journal. I hope you like. O n an A4 watercolor card I played with spray inks and some rubber dance stamps to create the background. I cut to the size of an A6 and started stamping different stamps with oxide inks in tones similar to the background to add texture to the page. I chose the moth from the set   Inky Flowers   , it is colored with watercolor pencils, One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is  usually the part that takes me the most. A few splashes with black acrylic and we would have our page Now I leave you some photos with details of the project.I hope you like it as much as I do when making them.                       Here are the Rubber Dande Stamps I used: Mix a sentiment 2 Mixed medi

Beautiful Bird

Image
Hi friends!! Josi Tomàs greets you one more time. How have you been these days? Did you have time to make scrap? Hope so  I really need this time to disconnect from day to day and recharge my "batteries" and in one of those days I made this little card. It was very easy. I made a background using two colors of acrylic paint (pink and yellow). Next I stamped different beautiful Rubber Dance stamps (numbers, dots, circles and texts) with black, yellow and purple permanent ink. I also stamped a branch with grey permanent ink and then painted it with my white Posca. To give a little "mystery" to the project, I blurred it whit white paint. The final decoration is very easy. I stamped this beautiful bird on scrap paper and accompany it with a hand torn fabric and bunch of threads with another stamp.   I hope you like it!! See you soon!! I have used these Rubber Dance stamps... #Grungy Stuff #Pencil Marks 4 #Mixed Media Marks  #Old Book Page #Pencil Marks 3 #Pencil Marks
