Golden ATC with Textured Spring by Farida

Hello Rubber Dance Friends,  it's me, Farida, and I am showing you a very golden ATC today. I first cut down a piece of heavy weight card stock to the size of 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches. Then I smooched with the watermark inkpad on about one half of the ATC to use a golden marbled embossing powder.  After this embossing powder layer is cooled down, I used the tiny heart stamp from the  Textured Spring Set  to give the background some more interest. Next I stamped and embossed the two hyacinths , fussy cut them and glued them on top of the background.  Finally I added a die cut and embossed sentiment to finish up my little goldilicious ATC. Happy crafting to all of you and don't forget to makes you look even more pretty ;) > Farida <   Rubber Dance links: Website Facebook Pinterest Blog Instagram YouTube

Mini Art Journaling Inky Friends

Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspirationTuesday. How's everybody? I've been playing with    Pencil marks # 1 ,  Mixed media marks   and   I nky Friends   to create a page in my little art journal. I  hope you like. I started by cutting watercolor paper into a 4x4 inch square format, adding with a spatula a crackle effect texture paste. I use a heat gun to speed up the drying. When it is completely dry, I add pigments (you can also use inks in sprays, watercolors ) To add texture, use multiple stamps with inks in shades similar to the background. I choose one of the stamps from the  Inky Friends  set, stamp it, color it with watercolor pencils, then cut. One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is usually the part that takes me the most. Now I leave you some photos with details of the project. I hope you like it as much as I do when making them. Here are the Rubber Dande Stamps I used: Mixed media marks P

Make Art Giant Tag by Toni Tickner

Hey everyone, Toni here Today I've made a giant tag with lots of texture and stamping  I used Inky Friends , Mixed Media Marks & Artist Plate   Firstly I prepped my tag with Matt gel and stuck down some vintage music paper and a lovely aged dictionary page Then I lightly scraped some gesso to bring the background together  There still wasn't enough texture for me though LOL so I used a Tim Holtz circle stencil with Prima white sand texture paste  After drying with my heat tool I used my stabilo all pencil to add some depth and lightly brush over with a dry brush and gesso and added my favourite Golden fluid acrylic in azo gold  Then I collected my Rubber Dance stamps using Mixed Media Marks and my ink pad and stamped randomly over the tag   Then I used the scissors & paint tube from Artist Plate and wings from the bee & moth from Inky Friends stamped onto white card stock, cut the wings out and added them to arty heart pieces.  Finally I used my die cut

Art Journal Page With Retro Beach by Dot Leathbridge

Hello everyone, It's Dot here today with a tutorial for you that uses stamps  mainly from the Retro Beach stamp set. There are some hidden gems in this set and I thought it might be fun to use them on an art journal page. Here is a step x step tutorial for you so that you can see how it all comes together. A quick background has been made using alcohol inks and a stencil on a gelli plate. The colours are from our Mood Board this month. Finger painting is a really fun thing to do! I used fingers and gesso to create some white areas on my background. This lovely lady is from Take The Plunge . She has been stamped onto tissue paper and some white paint has been added to her skin areas on the reverse side of the tissue paper. The same thing has been done with a couple of other images from this set. You'll see them in the close-ups further down. I made another quick alcohol ink background and stamped the sea shells onto it. The same colours from the background were used  so that i
