CAPE CANAVERAL 1962

 Hi friends! Josi Tomàs writes you again. Do you like travel around the world? 

I'm sure that the answer in 90% is "yes". I love travel but I haven't be able the opportunity of to meet a lot places yet.

For example Cape Canaveral is one of them. I imagine myself in that place watching a space launch with my family. Maybe one day it will happen!!

 Therefore, this new tutorial is inspired by this incredible place.

 

Firstly I made a colorful background using alcohol inks and then y get dirty with white acrylic paint drops.

I repeat the previous process but at this time I don't dirty it because I stamped House Row 1 with black permanent ink and then cut it out.

Next I stamped Mixed Media Marks #3 with the same colors I had use in the background but with "Distress ink".

For the decoration I have used a piece of the previous stamped paper another with the Vintage Postcard both torn by hand. Also the pretty houses and the main stamp with a piece of tape.

Easel Card With Textured Flowers

Hello.  Welcome.  Gail from the design team here today with a project using the new Textured Flowers stamps.  I loved these the moment I saw them.  Big beautiful blooms.  And many small er stamps for adding leaves and texture.   I decided to make a Twisted Easel Card.  There are many tutorials available but I used this one by Lois.  So here's my card using Textured Flowers and of course, a giraffe .......... I was inspired by the Rubber Dance challenge colours which for June are: I stamped the large simple daisy, masked and stamped two more.  I added the giraffe from African Animals .  I think I'll call her Daisy. I thought it looked a bit empty so I stamped more daisies...... and coloured with distress and d y e inks.  I stamped and embossed three of the doodled flowers and the giraffe, fussy cut and added them to my panel.  I used brads and a Cheery Lynn die cut for the flower centers.  I also doodled a little faux stitching

Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) These fine ladies have bullied me and some of my designers into a blog hop featuring our Sarcasm Superpower stamps. It didn't take much persuation, nor any bribes to speak of. Just mention  "challenge", and we'll be all over you like underfed fruitflies on a brown banana.
