February Recap - Lots of Inspiration!

Hellloooo, stampers! It's Bibi here today (owner of Rubber Dance), and it's that time of the month again when I share a few of the pretties made with my rubber stamps. Lots of cool stuff!

Some of these projects have been published on this blog, some on our Scandinavian blog, and others again on the DT members' own blogs - so even if you are a follower of this blog I bet there are quite a few you haven't seen before!

All the chipboards on our projects are from EyeConnect Crafts

Her name is Sari - aka Granne - and you can read her post here to find out how she made those cool backgrounds:

Remember that if YOU are a customer and you want to share something you have made with my stamps, please email me the photos or a link to where you have posted them (
I love it when you guys share! ♥

I hope you saw something here today that will inspire you to make your own pretties. Remember that you can add any of the photos to your own Pinterest account (if you have one), or simply download your faves to your own computer and look at them later when your mojo needs a nudge :-)

Till next time - which is tomorrow (new challenge!), be good, be creative, and stamp till you cramp!

Dragon Clock

Hello.  Welcome. Gail from the design team here with my debut post on the Rubber Dance International blog.  Actually I'm bilingual blogging today.  This post is also on the Scandanavian blog, in Norwegian, in case that is your preferred language LOL.

I always think February is a bit of a paradox.  The shortest month that sometimes seems to go on and on, whilst still managing to wizz past leaving you wondering where it went!  Soon March!!  Today I want to show you the clock I made for the Rubber Dance and EyeConnect blog hop.

I've had some questions. Is that a clock? Yes. Does it work? Yes, as long as you only need to know approximately what time it is .......

I started with an IKEA clock. A rectangular plastic base with an image of an alarm clock on. The hands go round .......... I dismantled the whole clock.

I stamped Rubber Dance Round in Circles and embossed in white on kraft paperI glued this sheet onto the plastic base, also covering the sidesI repeatedly stamped and embossed in white the large spiral, cut them out and glued them to the bottom of the clock, and one in the top corner.

I embossed a circle with red tinsel embossing powder and then stamped and embossed a spiral in white. Be quick! If you heat it too much the white starts to spread into the red. I added a white border.

The dragon is EyeConnect Totem Dragon embossed with red tinsel embossing powder and fastened together with brads. It moves. So cool!!

I stamped and embossed the hand from Rubber Dance ATC Backgrounds 2 and attached it to the second hand of the clock. It goes around once a minute. added red rhinestones and a piece of frayed ribbon to create the cuff. Behind it, the pen nib writes the word 'Imagination' and vaguely points out the hour.   This is attached to the hour hand and goes round once every 12 hours.

Thanks for dropping by.
