Wish Art Journal Page by Lisa Rabellino

Hi friends!  Lisa today and I love to share with you my new art journal spread playing with fabulous Rubber Dance stamps!  To start I brushed white gesso on my pages and I used my favorite watercolors to create a rainbow effect. Then I added extra colors with Distress crayons. I made some splatters with black liquid paint to give more contrast to the background.  I used Old Book Page stamp with black archival ink and I glued a Little birdie from Textured Birds set.  I stamped my sentiment and finally I made other splatters with white liquid paint. I used these products from the shop: https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/affirmations/#cc-m-product-13963533333 https://www.rubberdance.de/single-stamps-1/old-book-page/#cc-m-product-13970438333 https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/textured-birds/#cc-m-product-14277479733 https://www.rubberdance.de/small-sheets/grungy-stuff/#cc-m-product-14004441033 I hope you enjoyed my art journal inspiration today! Added more background texture with  Grungy Swirls  stamp. Stamped my focal image from the  I Heart Art  stamp set. Finished the spread by adding a quote from the  Journal Words  stamp. That's all for now.  A reminder that we have a challenge that goes all month in the Rubber Dance stamps Facebook group. You can find the link to the Facebook group  here Thank you for your precious time,  Take care,  Saadia Nawaz. Stamps used:

Autumn Tag by Angie Coomber

Image
Hello arty friends, how are you? I am in our camper van as I'm writing this and it is very wet and windy outside. I set myself a little challenge for this project. I gathered together a collection of autumn themed bits and pieces and brought them with me to see what I could come up with. I began by glueing some bits of ephemera to the tag to create a background. I then chose some stamped mushrooms and leaves and arranged them around the sides of the tag. I added one of Tim Holtz's paper dolls, some green-gold watercolour splatter, "confetti", some black and white doodling as well an as an autumnal quote. I hope you like it! Little Witch Card

Image
Hello and welcome to today's inspiration Monday. How is everyone? I enjoy and have a lot of fun creating cards, and if it's Halloween-themed, even more. I hope you like it.  I have been playing with Rubber Dance's   Mixed media marks ,  Grungy Sequins  ,  Boo to You    and   Little Witch . To begin with, I have cut a circle with scalloped edges in watercolor paper. I add color like a watercolor with the pigments. When I get the desired shades I let it dry or I help myself with a heat gun.I add stamps and embossing in white to the background One of the most fun parts of the creative process for me is coloring and cutting. This time I have colored with watercolor pencils. Now it's time to arrange the elements to finish the composition. Here are several photos of the project so you can appreciate the details. Here are the  Rubber Dance Stamps I used: Mixed media marks   Little Witch . Boo to You Grungy Sequins I hope you enjoyed and don't forget to visit regularly. Th

ATC Trio - Share some Love

Image
Happy Saturday Rubber Dance Friends,  let me quickly say something that is not related to my blog post itself. Corona is on everyone's lips, worldwide. We, the creative people who bring color into the world, should share this much more often. Send a card or a letter to a dear person you cannot meet right now. Handmade cards are something for the heart, we all know that, right? Please share some love when you can 💗 What about some Artist Trading Cards today? I use my Gelliplate very gladly and often. Thereby so many backgrounds are created, which I like to use, so also today for the ATCs.  First I used a stencil and structure paste. In the still wet paste I sprinkled embossing powder and heated it. This structure looks fabulous, doesn't it? Embossed stamp motifs on vellum always look wonderful, you can see the effects in the background and have a nice motif, very noble in the foreground. These flower stamps are perfect for this.  Here are the three ATCs that i made. Thank you v
