Pencil Marks Tag

Image
Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ? I've been playing  with   Mix it up 2   ,   Mix it up 1   ,  Mix a sentiment 3   and   Pencil Marks  6     to  create a Tag   that I hope you like . On watercolor paper, I play with different spray inks to create a colorful layer and use a blow dryer to speed up the process. I choose a stencil and apply micro distress glaze (this medium is waterproof, so the surfaces you apply it to won't be affected by water. You can use it as a resist when applying watercolors or any water-based paint or ink) .) I use a dryer to speed up the process and to add interest and depth to the page, I stamp different stamps with permanent ink . One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is  usually the part that takes me the most. A few splashes with white acrylic and we would have our page. Now I lea...

Hi Rubber Dance friends!!  Priss  writes you today. Welcome to a fun tutorial using the whimsical roses from the set  Doodle Flowers . First, I chose one of the tissue papers that I showed you in my last tutorial video. If you want to know how to make them go to  How to design your own tissue paper for Mixedmedia . Then I cut a piece of white cardstock and glued the chosen tissue paper on top of it and punch a small hole for the eyelet. Et Voilá! We have an easy and beautiful background ready to play over it with more layers.  Now I proceed to stamp some  Doodle Flowers  on Bristol paper and color them, first with Alcohol Markers and then I give them some lights and shadows with my favorite colored crayons. To give it a more personal look I always end up using black and white Posca markers to make my personal dots and marks. These whimsical roses will be our protagonists, but they need some friends to accompany them so they don't feel alone and ab...

Make your Mark by Lisa

Image
Hi friends! Lisa today with you and I'm happy to share with you my new art journal inspiration playing with Distress Oxide sprays and some fabulous Rubber Dance stamps! I took a piece of watercolor paper and first I made some stamping with white embossing powder and Pencil Marks #3 Clear stamps set. Then I used a Distress Oxide spray to create a pink watercolor background. I took Mixed Media Marks Clear stamps and I made a little stamping with archival inks. I added some details like branches of leaves and a big moth. Finally I made splatters with teal liquid paint. I used these products from the shop:  https://www.rubberdance.de/clear-stamps/mixed-media-marks-1-clear-0001/#cc-m-product-14534935433 https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/pencil-marks-3/ I hope you enjoyed my art journal inspiration for you! Hugs, Lisa

Grungy Junk Journal

Image
Hi, I'm Vero (@Vero.kt) and welcome to today's inspiration. How's everybody? . I've been playing with some of the   Rubber Dance  designs to create a page in my Junk Journal.  I have used   Inky Friends , Pencil marks 3 and   Mixed media marks  1.   I  hope you like . On watercolor paper, I play with different spray inks to create a colorful layer and use a blow dryer to speed up the process. I choose a stencil and apply micro distress glaze (this medium is waterproof, so the surfaces you apply it to won't be affected by water. You can use it as a resist when applying watercolors or any water-based paint or ink) .) For that resistance effect, I choose some pigment and mica inks and apply them on my paper. I use a dryer to speed up the process and to add interest and depth to the page, I stamp different stamps with permanent ink . Later I stitch with the sewing machine to integrate the elements in the composition. One of the parts...
