Card with This Is Me by Gail

Hello Rubber Dance friends.  Gail here with a card I made and sent to a friend in Illinois as part of the Card Chain Challenge.  This is an international card exchange I help run and this month I made my card using beautiful Rubber Dance stamps.

I started with a patterned card base.  I stamped all over with the thin pointy leaf from Things With Wings using Taylored Expression Cookie Monster ink.  I stamped the girl on a scrap of pink pearlescent paper and a scrap of yellow vellum.  I fussy cut the girl and then just her hair from the yellow vellum, layered them together and added a little green gel pen colour to her eyes.  I used black archival to stamp the lovely sentiment.

Greeting Card with Distress Oxide Background - Video by Susanne

Hi there! It's Susanne today. I have these awesome  Distress Oxides laying here for about 9 months now and have used them just a little. Now I decided to pick them out and give it a go! Today I am sharing a cardmaking tutorial. Beneath the Distress Oxides I used the Butterfly Trio stamp set and half of a Birthday sentiment from Rubber Dance. Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour. I've used totally different colours so that I've got a choice of colours for my toppers. I've used metallics on this one and they are really nice! For the 'in between

Atc´s Textured Birds by Verónica

Hi everyone, Verónica is here. Today I come with a colorful and fun series of Atc´s that I have made with the beautiful  Textured Birds set .  Let's go step by step, so you can cheer up and make your own.I hope you enjoy it and you like it, it is done with great affection. We cut watercolor paper that measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches, if you prefer in centimeters 8,9cm by 6,4 cm approximately. Now we create the backgrounds by coloring with watercolors, pigments, or inks. I have used pigments dissolved in water, to give it a watercolor effect. When they are ready and dry we apply textured paste with some stencils that we like. In my case Distress Textured Paste (crackle). We can use the embossing gun to speed up the process or let it dry. We continue, we are going to stamp these adorable and cute little birds with a waterproof ink.
