Hello there Rubber Dance Friends, it's Dunja from the DesignTeam again and i'm sharing a Mixed Media Tag with you.



Do you remember my card a few days ago? I've used the cut outs of some alphabet dies from Alexandra Renke this time again. 

The Butterfly is the Grungy Butterfly #4 Stamp.


I've done some heatembossing in the background with the squares. Then i put the leafs in the back and the butterfly and sentiment on top of it.

Art Journal Page with Distress Ink Background and Crazy Flowers

Hi everyone! It's Susanne writing today. I used Distress Inks together with some of our Crazy Flowers to create the page in this art journal. It's a watercolor journal from Kunst & Papier, it's one of my favourites to use with Ink and watercolors. I didn't use any gesso to prime my page. The flowers are embossed with white powder on watercolor paper. I coloured them in in complementary colours, by dipping them into the Distress Inks, to let them pop from the background. Altered Chipboard Butterfly + Giveaway

Bibi here today with a fun project, using the Totem Monarch Poppet chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts . I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project. Rubber Dance June Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. So, here you go - our three challenge colours for June and a not-so-very surprising (although optional) theme: We need to see you using all three colours for your entries. Please check  our simple rules  before you link up You must use stamping, but you do not have to use stamps from Rubber Dance in order to participate. The challenge runs till June 30th. Easter Time

Hello everyone Debs here. I'm delighted to start my Guest Designer time with Rubber Dance. It's such an honour to join the talented team and get to play with some of the fabulous stamps. Today's project is inspired by my favourite season spring, which has just started here in the UK. I love the newness of life which spring brings, and this can be seen all around me at the moment as the fields are full of new lambs and the hedges are carpeted in daffodils.   I cut out the basket shape and added the colour randomly with a brayer. I stamped it with a variety of flowers from  Textured Flowers  and then gave them a coat of white acrylic to ensure the colours are bright.   I used water soluble pencils to add colour to flowers. Once dry I added more pencil for shading. The basket effect was created with a white pen to represent wicker.
