 Hi friends! 

Lisa today to share with you another art journal inspiration for Rubber Dance Design Team! 

To start I glued some pieces of patterned paper that I made with Gelli Plate.

Then I used acrylic paints directly with my fingers to have more control of the background.

I let it dry very well and I added some white acrylic paint.

I chose Grungy Stuff and Mix A Sentiment 2 stamp sets and I used on my page with archival inks.

I stamped Believe word from Affirmations stamp set on a piece of white cardstock and I added as my focal point.

As usual I made splatters with teal liquid paint for the final touch.

Rubber Dance Stamp Challenge - October

After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon).
