Make your Mark by Lisa

Image
Hi friends! Lisa today with you and I'm happy to share with you my new art journal inspiration playing with Distress Oxide sprays and some fabulous Rubber Dance stamps! I took a piece of watercolor paper and first I made some stamping with white embossing powder and Pencil Marks #3 Clear stamps set. Then I used a Distress Oxide spray to create a pink watercolor background. I took Mixed Media Marks Clear stamps and I made a little stamping with archival inks. I added some details like branches of leaves and a big moth. Finally I made splatters with teal liquid paint. I used these products from the shop:  https://www.rubberdance.de/clear-stamps/mixed-media-marks-1-clear-0001/#cc-m-product-14534935433 https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/pencil-marks-3/ I hope you enjoyed my art journal inspiration for you!  Hi friends! Lisa today and I'm Happy to share with you my new art journal inspiration with Rubber Dance stamps! To start I used my favourite watercolors combo on the page, adding a little of white gesso to create some white spaces. I let it dry with the heat gun so I made a little stamping with Grungy Stuff and Old Book page stamp sets. I stamped a flower from Textured Flowers Clear stamps set and I added a sticker for the sentiment. Finally I made splatters with teal liquid pain for a little contrast. I hope you enjoyed my art journal inspiration for you! Hugs, Lisa

Grungy Junk Journal

Image
Hi, I'm Vero (@Vero.kt) and welcome to today's inspiration. How's everybody? . I've been playing with some of the   Rubber Dance  designs to create a page in my Junk Journal.  I have used   Inky Friends , Pencil marks 3 and   Mixed media marks  1.   I  hope you like . On watercolor paper, I play with different spray inks to create a colorful layer and use a blow dryer to speed up the process. I choose a stencil and apply micro distress glaze (this medium is waterproof, so the surfaces you apply it to won't be affected by water. You can use it as a resist when applying watercolors or any water-based paint or ink) .) For that resistance effect, I choose some pigment and mica inks and apply them on my paper. I use a dryer to speed up the process and to add interest and depth to the page, I stamp different stamps with permanent ink . Later I stitch with the sewing machine to integrate the elements in the composition. One of the parts...

Easy art journal page

Image
Hi friends!  Lisa here today and I made a new art journal inspiration playing with fabulous Rubber Dance stamps! To start my page I chose Mandalas stamps and I used them with white embossing powder.  Then I used some Distress Oxide pads as watercolors for the background. I let it dry so I used Mix A Sentiment 3 with black archival ink. I added a little birdie from Sketchy Birds clear stamps with a quote for the focal point of the page. Finally I added some splatters with teal liquid paint to add colour. I used these products from the shop: https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/mandalas/#cc-m-product-14481624633 https://www.rubberdance.de/small-sheets/mix-a-sentiment-3/#cc-m-product-14519570233 https://www.rubberdance.de/clear-stamps/sketchy-birds-clear-0006/#cc-m-product-14534922233 I hope you enjoyed my art journal inspiration for you! Five Little Fish by Samantha Read

Image
Hello, Samantha here today and I'm sharing another page ready for my art journal. It was really an experiment, I wanted to find out how embossing powder would look on the edges of torn card and I really liked the textured finish. The fish were originally going to be all the colours I could find but in the end they looked better all the same colour combination. Sometimes things don't go as we plan in our heads. I created the background using diluted distress inks and swishing the card in the inks. Using the Carved Collection #3 stamp set I added some background details. I then added gold embossing powder all along the edge. To create some bubbles I used some glittery embossing powder. This adds a really lovely shimmer and the silver glitter adds lovely contrast to the gold edges. I remember reading somewhere that gold and silver shouldn't be used together but I quite like it. I then stamped and coloured the fish I needed from the Textured Fishes stamp set. I used watercolour...
