A Whale Art Journal and Video by Priss

Hello friends!!!

Priss here with another Art Journal Page. This time is for my landscape Journal (I made this Journal with watercolour paper sized as A5) and I used this lovely Whale of the set Whale Wishes.

First, I tore a piece of copy paper to simulate my waterline, and then I stamped some of my favourite stamps from set Mixed Media Marks

I used Distress Oxide inks to colour the water and the sky. And then, with a  stencil of circles of any size, I made some ghost marks with water here and there.

I made some marks with the same stencil and some inks, that go up from the sea bottom to the sky, like strange bubbles in dark blue and purple. Also, I made other stencil marks all over the page.

I stamped some bubbles from the set and used white Embossing Powder, here and there.  I also stamped with permanent inks more Mixed Media Marks and I made some splatters with darker inks all over the page.

To finish my background, I created a frame with the seam stamp that came in the Mixed Media Marks set and did a few black and white doodles between the marks I made with the stencils. Then I made some splaters in blue and purple.

Finally, I prepared my composition with a scrap of rice paper, painted gauze, and a string with sailor knots, all to highlight more of the cute little whale on the set.

Then I cut some words from the set Mix a Sentiment to made my journal quote.

Now, I let you with a video tutorial in real-time. Hope you enjoyed it and please remember to share your projects with us at our Facebook group (Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge).

Hugs!! Priss
