Hey everyone, Toni here today
I hope your enjoying your weekend so far 
Today I have some ATC cards using the lovely 
Inky Friends stamp set 


Firstly I measured out some cardboard pieces
3.5"x2.5" 
Ripped off some of the surface to show the 
corrugated part 
Used some modelling paste and a stencil to 
add some texture and started my favourite part 
Spraying with colour 
I chose three a blue a yellow and a green
Then I added some vintage music 
paper to give them some blank space as they 
We're looking busy and I was afraid the stamped images would be lost in the background 


I also used some of the stamps from
Mixed Media Marks 
I let the background dry naturally while waiting I stamped the images on white cardstock and gathered some lace for more texture 
Once I'd glued everything down I used the same distress sprays and coloured in the butterflies and bees 
Added some sentiments and they're complete

Rubber Dance June Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. Ellie Knol Mixed Media Cards

Hi everyone! Ellie Knol gladly accepted my invitation to guest design, and today I want to show you some beautiful cards she made using stamps from the set called Vintage Birds, and the background stamp called Vintage Script. I think these cards are really cool and I hope you will like them as much as I do! A closer look at some details:    Start off with a suitable piece of scrapbook paper. Both feathers have been heat embossed in black. I added some cheese cloth,  photo-film, a frame covered with some texture paste, and used a stencil to add texture with the same texture paste. I stamped some script in the background with black ink and white gesso.  Ellie also made this beautiful ATC!  Feather stamped with various colors of Distress inks. Backround is sponged with Distress inks (partially with stencils).
