Space Cat by Samantha Read

Hello, Samantha here today and I'd like to share with you a hanging home decor item I made.
I hope you can see I had so much fun with this lovely little cat from the Little Witch stamp set, he's off on a wonderful space adventure.

I started off with a round piece of cardboard and ripped off some of the top layer to add texture and contrast. (The UFO stencil I'm quite proud of as I suggested it to Sarah, the owner of Funky Fossil Designs and she did it!)

The little moon is from the What A Girl Wants stamp set and is just the right size for this make. I used lots of glittery star sequins and mirco beads to add more sparkle. I used some of the Journal Words stamps for background depth and Weed Love for some foreground foliage.

To finish I added some inky splats in black and silver, glitter on the beam of light and crackle accents on the space ship windows. The kitty has glossy accent eyes too.

I do hope you like it, thanks for looking and I hope you have a lovely day, Sam :)

Here are the stamps I used, just click on them to go shopping!
