Thank You Card using Inky Flowers by Farida

Hi you all, Farida here.

I'm happy to be back again.  As it's not always possible to just pop in and give some flowers as a thank you to for example a good friend, I decided sending a stamped Thank you flower card using the Inky flowers stamp set.

I took my time colouring the flower and leaves with my alcohol markers and added some dimension and detail to them.

Afterward I just used my scissors and fussy cut the image leaving a narrow white border.  For the background I had an already foiled vellum piece, which I glued on some white cardstock.  Then I wrapped a natural cord around it and just tied a knot.

For some dimension I glued the big flower image down using some foam tape at the back.  Then glued some stamped and coloured buds directly on the vellum.  With the thank you sentiment from the Joy in a Jar stamp set I finished up my card.
Hopefully it brings some joy to the recipient and maybe some inspiration to you?

Have a wonderful day,
Greets Farida
