 Hi friends! 

Lisa today to share with you my new art journal inspiration for Rubber Dance design team!


To start I brushed some acrylic paints directly with my fingers on the page. I let it dry and so I applied white gesso here and there.


I chose Mixed Media Marks stamp set and I used some stamps with archival inks.


I stamped a butterfly from Inky Friends stamp set and I coloured it with Distress Crayons.


Finally I made some splatters with liquid acrylic paints.

New Website AND Birthday SALE!

Hi everyone! It's Bibi here, the owner of Rubber Dance, and guess what.... Today is my birthday!! Hey??! Not only is it my birthday - I have made a brand new website for Rubber Dance! But, wait - there is more: NEW stamps, too? You bet! I made these tags with some of the new stamps ... Yes, I made birthday tags for myself ... The backgrounds on the ones to the left and right are my first attempt with the really cool nail polish in water marbling technique. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, here's a really good tutorial with Carla Sonheim). The tag in the middle was coloured with Distress inks and misted with water, while the stamped label on top is with the nail polish technique. Hello Everyone, Shilpa from the Design Team here. I would like to share some ATCs with you today I created this set of ATCs using Rubber Dance Stamps Butterfly Girl 1 Butterfly Girl 2 Flying Ink Bottle Phone Home Art Defined For all the ATCs the making process is same, and they are easy to make. To start with I applied Distress Oxide inks (2 colors) to the surface, spritzed water and dried it. For next layer, I used different stencils and applied inks with a blending tool. Then I stamped focal images using black archival ink. For more texture in the background, I stamped text using "Art Defined" stamp. I adhered the words and the ATCs were ready! Mixed Media Tags by Susanne

Hi there! Susanne writing today and I'm sharing some mixed media tags today. My focal points are the beautiful Butterfly Girls . I started with a water colour background. I added a thin layer of gesso in the middle are and some background stamping for more interest. Before I added the Butterfly Girls (that are stamped on gelli printed deli paper), I added some patterned paper which was die cut with the Tim Holtz Mixed Media dies. To finish it up I added some black dripping paint and white splatters. The sentiment is printed with the computer. I framed every tag with my sewing machine.  I created similar tags a while ago, where I used the same technique. You'll find it here .
