Index Card Notebook by Angie Coomber

 Hi arty friends,

Happy Easter to you!

I came across a set of index cards in my stash the other day and thought I would make a little notebook with them - I like the idea that there will be visible lines for writing on.

I used my gelli plate to create backgrounds on the index cards.

Next I added some white stencilling,

followed by some black stencilling.

I folded each index card in half and glued them together back to back to create the book.

For the cover I cut a strip of gelli printed card to the right size, allowing a little extra for the spine.

I added a little gold embossing on the front cover. As you can see here I have created my own background stamp "cubes" by gluing some of my smallest Rubber Dance background stamps onto 4 sides of a child's building block - it stops me losing the tiny stamps and I have a selection of backgrounds on one block.

Finally I added a stamped stamped flower from the Doodle Flowers set, and a word sticker.

Until next time, hugs from Angie x

Gel printing on index cards is one of my favorite things to do - especially when The Muse is being quiet. I love your little book!
