Sunflowers Card with Flowers Gone Wild by Priss
Hey Rubber Dance Lovers, Priss here with a new tutorial. Today I've made a card with the sunflowers from the set Flowers Gone Wild. Are you ready to see how this was made?
For
this card, I used a 5 inch square of mixed media paper, embossing
ink, white embossing powders (you could use clear too), inks and the
heart stamp from the Mixed Media Marks set.
For the background, I used the emboss resist technique. So you just need to stamp the heart all over the paper, cover with the embossing powder and melt it with the embossing gun.
Then
I used inks to create this beautiful splattered background.  Later I
glue my background over a black cardstock just a little bigger than my
first square.
I
took the beautiful sunflower and stamped it all over the mixed media paper and
coloured the centre and the leaves with alcohol markers.  For the petals, I
used embossing powder.  Then I fussy cut them and glued them on my
card.
For
the sentiment, I used the text "I Love You" that came with the set Flowers Gone Wild.  I stamped it on white card stock, and then glued it
over a black cardstock as a frame.
Then I glued my card over a soft pink card base that has a matching envelope.
