Butterfly Girl Card by Dot Leathbridge

 Hello everyone,

Do you have a favourite Rubber Dance stamp?
Butterfly Girl #2 has been one of my favourites forever!

Today I'm sharing a mini tutorial with you that
I hope you enjoy

Isn't she gorgeous?

This is a monochrome card that uses some scrap painty bits from my stash
for the Butterfly Girl and the background.

It's a really nice effect when you can match up the colours.

So that she stands out a little more I've added some extra white paint
to the background.

Using pencils I touched up the neutral colours on her wings so that she
 stands out a little more.
Circles were stamped with a lid and coloured in as well.

The leaves from Crazy Flowers #2 were stamped under
and above her.  They were coloured with white pencil but then I decided to
add some white gesso so that they looked a little whiter.

A stamp from Collage Elements was used to add some more
detail and to help ground the image.

And here she is in all her glory.
She is such a pretty stamp.

Here are the stamp sets that were used:

I hope you enjoyed this card.
She is a very special stamp.

Please remember that we have a mood board each month for inspiration.

I took the colour blue and the circles as my inspiration today.

A reminder that Rubber Dance stamps are available in Australia
through Ink Art Designs.
We have a huge range available including the new releases.

Wishing everyone a crafty day.
