Swing Card with Whale Wishes by Priss
Hello there!!!
Priss here with a swing card tutorial with this lovely whale of the set Whale Wishes.
First, I took a piece of watercolour paper and started my favourite part, spraying with some Oxide pigments in blue tones, and also some pigments with mica in blue and green tones.
I let it dried by air and splashed it with white acrylic paint.
Then with this beautiful piece of paper, I made some dies with a wave die-cut.
I cut a round circle with a die (it is about 5 inches) on watercolour paper. Then I folded it in half and painted both sides with blue and green oxide inks.
On one of the halves, I glued the wave dies and then I distressed the edges with a darker blue ink.
I cut another circle with the same die cut. Then I cut it in half and used oxide spray in sand colour.
Using a stencil, I applied embossing ink and then melted yellow distress embossing glaze. I also stamped some marks included in the Whale Wishes set.
To give it depth I distressed the edges with yellow ink. Then I glued this piece on the top of my card.
Now is the time to enjoy colouring and fussy cutting the elements of my sea. The awesome whale on the set, some seaweed, and bubbles.
Finally I stamped the sentiment "I love you whaly much" and glued all the elements to made my composition.
Now I let you with some detailed pictures of my card
I do hope you like it, thanks for watching,
Priss XOXO
