Art journal page with Lisa

 Hi friends! 

Lisa today with you on the blog and I'm happy to share my new art journal inspiration for Rubber Dance design team playing with awesome stamps and acrylic paints!

I chose to start my page directly with acrylic paints that I blended together with a spatula, adding white paint to balance the background.

I let it dry very well and I made some stamping with archival inks and Inky Flowers, Mixed Media Marks and Grungy Stuff stamp sets.

To create more texture I added some white paints with Uni Posca pen on the leaves.

I stamped a butterfly from Inky Friends stamp set on a piece of paper created  with gelly plate and I glued as my focal point with a inspiration word.

Finally I added some splatters with fuchsia liquid paint.

Back from The Netherlands

Hello everyone! It's Bibi here today, typing to you from my new keyboard .... Isn't that speck-tacular?  But what does my "new" keyboard have to do with my trip to The Netherlands? Keep reading and you'll soon find out ... As our regular blog readers will know, I spent a week in The Netherlands earlier this month. The main reason I went there was so I could go to the ARTSpecially stamp show in Nijkerk to meet my Dutch retailer - Marian, who owns Hobbycompleet de Duif . But before that, my sweetheart and I spent some days in Amsterdam, one of my fave places in the world! The huge "I amsterdam" letters on the plaza behind Rijksmuseum (National Gallery). Any toursist with respect for herself will take 100's of photos of those letters....
