Leaves and Butterflies Card by Gail

Hello Rubber Dance friends.  Gosh, October!! I actually like the autumn season with it's gorgeous colours and all the bright harvest vegetables, but the shorter nights and cooler days do make me want to cosy down with warm blankets and hot chocolate!!!   It also zaps the creativity a bit so this months moodboard gives some great ideas for themes and colours.  I also like to look at challenge themes to see if they will spark ideas.  This month the Lift Challenge has an interesting technique of stamping a repeating pattern and then colouring by stamping with another stamp.  Well, I have plenty of stamps!  So after a little thought this happened. So cute!!!   I used the little butterfly from Rubber Dance Things With Wings with the small leaf cluster from Rubber Dance Carved Collection #4 and the sentiment from Rubber Dance Think Again set. I stamped the small butterfly in an ascetically pleasing pattern I stamped the leaf cluster on each butt...

How to design your own tissue paper for Mixedmedia by Priss

Hello, Hello!!! I'm  Priss  and I welcome you to a new tutorial. Today I'll show you how to design your own tissue paper to bring your mixed media backgrounds to life with the fabulous Rubber Dance stamps. First, let me show you some photos of the tissue papers you could design with this tutorial.  But if you're impatient and don't want to wait to get started, scroll to the bottom for the video tutorial. And now it's time to get your hands dirty and create your own decorated Tissue Papers.  You will need:  Tissue paper. Sorry, cause in the video I often call it Silk Paper. Permanent ink. I used Versafine Clair, but you could use your favorite. Just make sure that it's permanent.  Acrylic Paintings. Choose the colors you want. And of course your favorite Rubber Dance stamps. Let the fun begin... I really hope you like it and encourage you to create your own. Sorry about my English. Three cards with Carved Collection #5

                                                                               Hi everyone! Mariken here, with a tutorial for you, making three cards, with the beautiful stamps from Carved Collection #5. For these cards I used: Carved Collection #5 and Round in Circles  I started with making a print with acrylic paint and a brush,  making some colors on my gelliplate.  See the photos below. I made my first print, and for the second I used a stamp from Round in Circles. Just put the stamp into the wet paint several times.             ...
