I played with some summer stamps; beachy ones. 



The stamp sets are designed quite different, but it's fun to stamp different pictures on 3 centimeter square cards and make a picture collage.

 Hi everyone. One of the good things to come out of the pandemic is the reinforcement of how so very special our friends are. So this card is for all our friends, near and far. Would you like to see how it was made? I have a step x step for you. And I made a little discovery that  uses masking (my favourite technique) but on a gel plate this time. The baby penguin, from Playful Penguins ,  is the first thing to be stamped. Mask off the baby penguin, stamp the mom, masking off again. Then stamp the moon from Celestial and the floating ice sheets from Playful Penguins . It's surprising how many stamps are in this set. I stamped the waves once, then masked the top of it so that I could add the seal. I wanted it to look like he is popping up out of the water to say hello. Guest Designer Katy Leitch - Mini Assemblage

Hello everyone! So happy to be back with my dear friends at Rubber Dance today for a guest appearance! I was actually a bit cheeky and kind of invited myself, because I really wanted to get my hands on the gorgeous ' Fly with Me ' stamp set! I've created a small assemblage piece today using lots of pieces of chipboard layered together. Here's how I created it. Rubber Dance stamps used: Fly with Me Collage Elements 1 Round in Circles 1) Glue several layers of chipboard shapes together so they form a pleasing shape. Have a focal area for your stamp and make some of the elements overhang the main background shape. I added some stencilling with modelling paste to the arched piece. 2) Paint the whole thing with black gesso and allow to dry. 3) Spray liberally with lots of shimmer sprays, spraying close to and getting lots of mica in there, I used mostly ColourArte Radiant Rains for this. After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. Atc´s Textured Birds by Verónica

Hi everyone, Verónica is here. Today I come with a colorful and fun series of Atc´s that I have made with the beautiful  Textured Birds set .  Let's go step by step, so you can cheer up and make your own.I hope you enjoy it and you like it, it is done with great affection. We cut watercolor paper that measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches, if you prefer in centimeters 8,9cm by 6,4 cm approximately. Now we create the backgrounds by coloring with watercolors, pigments, or inks. I have used pigments dissolved in water, to give it a watercolor effect. When they are ready and dry we apply textured paste with some stencils that we like. In my case Distress Textured Paste (crackle). We can use the embossing gun to speed up the process or let it dry. We continue, we are going to stamp these adorable and cute little birds with a waterproof ink.
