Hey everyone welcome back to another project using the fabulous Inky Friends , Mixed Media Marks & Mix a Sentiment #1 stamp sets  First I used some texture paste, a stencil and some oxide sprays and created a background of texture and grunge, lovely grunge  Then, just for the love of grunge, I added some smudges of vintage photos and stamped using the butterfly stamp in the same colour as the background so it slightly blended in  Then stamped the butterfly in grey and fussy cut it out  Using some other elements out of my fodder stash I put the project together  Thank you for popping over and have a fabulous week  Toni XoXo

Inky Friends Art Journal Page by Toni

Image
Hey everyone, Toni here.  I hope you are all well and have been crafty  Today I've made an Art Journal Page using Inky Friends stamp set  Firstly I taped off the page with masking tape knowing I wanted two lines for some Asemic writing  Then I stamped randomly round the edges using  Loose Florals #1 & Affirmations   Then using my watercolours I coloured in the leaves and flowers and made a watercolour background  Once dry I removed the tape and wrote a quote in asemic writing  Using the beautiful moth stamps from Inky Friends set I stamped it three times I wanted to cut it so it looked 3D from the page like a pop up book  I painted the body and wings in different colours so it stood out more  Then finally I assembled the page      Thank you for joining me.  Don't forget to pop over to Instagram for a look at all the teams projects  Have a fabulous week  Toni XoXo    Rubber Dance link...

Inky Friends Artist Trading Cards by Toni

Image
Hey everyone, Toni here today I hope your enjoying your weekend so far  Today I have some ATC cards using the lovely  Inky Friends stamp set   Firstly I measured out some cardboard pieces 3.5"x2.5"  Ripped off some of the surface to show the  corrugated part  Used some modelling paste and a stencil to  add some texture and started my favourite part  Spraying with colour  I chose three a blue a yellow and a green Then I added some vintage music  paper to give them some blank space as they  We're looking busy and I was afraid the stamped images would be lost in the background  I also used some of the stamps from Mixed Media Marks  I let the background dry naturally while waiting I stamped the images on white cardstock and gathered some lace for more texture  Once I'd glued everything down I used the same distress sprays and coloured in the butterflies and bees   Added some sentiments and they're complete...

Hey Crafters so happy to be here again with another mixed media tag  Using Flowers Gone Wild stamp set  And distress inks in Victoria Velvet & Salvaged Patina  Which together reminds me of bubblegum  Firstly I used a stencil and Victorian Velvet distress spray as a background  Then I used the sunflower from Flowers Gone Wild set and embossed the head of the flower with white embossing powder  The next step was adding some more colour using Victorian velvet and Salvage Patina  And my favourite go to adding some gesso  One of the last steps was adding some sewing detail to the tag and collage fodder used as the background  After that I took some alcohol ink in the colour pool and covered a piece of Yupo paper  Using one of my favourite techniques of lifting off the ink from the paper using alcohol ink lifter pad then rubbing of the excess ink  It leaves you with a X-ray like print  Absolutely love it  Once it's...

Hey everyone, Toni here.  Today I've got not one but two tags!  I mean why not when you have some oxide ink left over?  I call it the mop up tag....... Firstly I used some Oxide Ink in Weathered Wood, Tattered Rose & Black Soot  I wanted a watercolour effect Then I did some stencilling and stamping using Mixed Media Marks & Mix a Sentiment #1 as background stamps  I used my sewing machine to add more texture round the edge of the tags. I'm loving this affect at the moment! The I stamped two hearts using Arty Hearty , placed the smaller heart inside the larger one and adhered the butterflies from the Inky Friends stamp set  I used the inks to paint and add some detail then I stamped over the top with Mix a Sentiment #1 .  I also used some embossing glaze on the wings  And finally added a sentiment from the Mix a Sentiment #1 stamp set  Thank you for joining me I hope you have a fabulous week  I have made a quick time laps...
