NOVEMBER INSPIRATION

 Hello Rubber Dance fans. 

Gail here today kicking off November here at the Rubber Dance blog.

The first day of the month so we have a new moodboard.  We hope you will be inspired to share your Rubber Dance makes with us.  You can be inspired by anything on the moodboard; one or more colours, things, shapes, memories it inspires, things it makes you feel, etc. etc..  It's basically anything goes, but if you need a little help to get started Susanne has put together this awesome inspiration for us.

Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour. I've used totally different colours so that I've got a choice of colours for my toppers. I've used metallics on this one and they are really nice! For the 'in between...

Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) These fine ladies have bullied me and some of my designers into a blog hop featuring our Sarcasm Superpower stamps. It didn't take much persuation, nor any bribes to speak of. Just mention  "challenge", and we'll be all over you like underfed fruitflies on a brown banana. I want to fly!

I used one of the Aztec images from the set * Aztec Art Dolls *.
