Christmas Tag with Textured Birds

Hello Rubber Dance friends.  Gail here today with a quick and fun tag for Christmas.  I've used a few different stamps and combined them in a easy cute way.


I've used a 15cm high manilla tag and stamped the Textured Bird with black archival ink.  I always think this one looks like a robin.   I masked and then stamped the Birdhouse using Tea Dye distress and a touch of black archival on the edges.  I coloured the bird with distress markers and added some white gel pen highlights here and there.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Tag set.  A bit of fancy wool to finish and done!

Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) I want to fly!

Altered Chipboard Butterfly + Giveaway

Bibi here today with a fun project, using the Totem Monarch Poppet chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts . I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project.
