Round cards and tags with Loose Florals#1 by Mariken

                                                                         Hi everyone, 

Mariken here, with a tutorial for you, making round cards. 
And from the left overs I made some tags...
This time used the stamps Loose Florals #1, Journal Words and Round in Circles.

Please follow the photo's below...
 
I used my gelliplate and alcohol inks.
 
 
At first I made some  circles in several colors.

 
The alcohol inks have to dry before you put a thin layer of acrylic paint on the circles.


 
Then you make your print, you can see the result below.


 I used white embossing powder for the background,
using the stamps from Round In Circles ( love them so much!)


 
Now it's time to make the round cards and tags (from the leftovers)
 using these punches.


After that I stamped the Loose Florals with black ink
and colored them with watercolors.
 I cutted them out and glued them on the cards and tags.
 
 
I finished the tags with  some sentiments from Journal Words.
Then... fianally I made some handmade ribbon, 
and my cards and tags are ready.

Art Journal Page with Distress Ink Background and Crazy Flowers

Hi everyone! It's Susanne writing today. I used Distress Inks together with some of our Crazy Flowers to create the page in this art journal. It's a watercolor journal from Kunst & Papier, it's one of my favourites to use with Ink and watercolors. I didn't use any gesso to prime my page. The flowers are embossed with white powder on watercolor paper. I coloured them in in complementary colours, by dipping them into the Distress Inks, to let them pop from the background. Altered Chipboard Butterfly + Giveaway

I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project. Rubber Dance June Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. CASology Week #202: Masculine (card by Bibi)

Hello everyone! Bibi here today to show you a card I've made for the challenge at CASology, where the theme this week is to make a masculine card. "Heeeelp!", was my first reaction when I saw what their theme was, as I think it's really difficult to make cards for men! In addition, it must of course be CAS (= Clean And Simple), so I really had to step outside of my comfort zone....., but that's the point of a good challenge, isn't it? :-) Anyway, it was a post by  DT Kristiina  (on our Scandinavian blog ) that came to my rescue! If you haven't seen her post , you really should! The text is in Swedish, but there are lots of awesome project photos that speak for themselves. Kristiina had used stamped letters as the only "images" on her cards and I was very impressed by what she made, so I took out my Alphabet Uno stamps  (same as Kristiina had used), and what do you know - they spoke to me right away!
