Adventure art journal page

 Hi friends! 


Lisa today to share with you my new art journal inspiration for Rubber Dance design team! 


To start I brushed white gesso on my page. I took my favorite watercolors and I used yellow and blue colours together to get other nuances.


Then I used Mixed Media Marks and Vintage Script stamp sets with archival inks.


On a piece of watercolor paper I stamped a flower from Inky Flowers stamp set, I coloured it with watercolors and I used it as my focal point on the page. 


I glued my title from Journal Words stamp sets and finally I made splatters with liquid acrylics.

Rubber Dance June Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. So, here you go - our three challenge colours for June and a not-so-very surprising (although optional) theme: We need to see you using all three colours for your entries. Please check  our simple rules  before you link up You must use stamping, but you do not have to use stamps from Rubber Dance in order to participate. The challenge runs till June 30th. Ellie Knol Mixed Media Cards

Hi everyone! Ellie Knol gladly accepted my invitation to guest design, and today I want to show you some beautiful cards she made using stamps from the set called Vintage Birds, and the background stamp called Vintage Script. I think these cards are really cool and I hope you will like them as much as I do! A closer look at some details:    Start off with a suitable piece of scrapbook paper. Both feathers have been heat embossed in black. I added some cheese cloth,  photo-film, a frame covered with some texture paste, and used a stencil to add texture with the same texture paste. I stamped some script in the background with black ink and white gesso.  Ellie also made this beautiful ATC!  Feather stamped with various colors of Distress inks. Backround is sponged with Distress inks (partially with stencils).
