MORE JANUARY INSPIRATION

  Hello Rubber Dance fans.

I hope you are all keeping well and finding time to create.

Gail here today with some makes from the team inspired by this months moodboard.  You can be inspired by anything on the moodboard; one or more colours, things, shapes, memories it inspires, things it makes you feel, etc. etc..  It's basically anything goes, but just in case you need a little help to get started you can use the moodboard.

If you are creating anything with Rubber Dance stamps this month, whatever your inspiration, please add it to the album in our FB fan group and you might be the winner of a voucher to the store.  We need at least 30 entries to draw a prize winner.

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. So, here you go - our three challenge colours for June and a not-so-very surprising (although optional) theme: We need to see you using all three colours for your entries. Please check  our simple rules  before you link up You must use stamping, but you do not have to use stamps from Rubber Dance in order to participate. The challenge runs till June 30th. CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). Rubber Dance Stamp Challenge - October

After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
