'home is not a place, it's a feeling' Card by Dunja


Happy Monday everyone, hope you enjoyed your weekend :)


Maybe you also have the new Rubber Dance stamps on your table? :) It was a great pleasure for me. Such gorgeous brand new stamp sets. Have you seen them all? I chose the Happy Place Stamps and embossed them with white embossing powder.


Then I wiped and blended all the background with the Oxide Inks (Spreckled Egg, Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire). I decided to stamp the house with Black Memento and to color it with the SN Illustrator markers, this is the spot of my card.


I hope you like the card? Perfect for moving into the house or a feel-good card to someone who makes you feel at home, right?

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
