Colorful present cards with Mandalas by Mariken

Hi everyone!

Mariken here, with a tutorial for you, 
making these colorful present cards

I used :

Mandalas, Round in Circles and Mix A Sentiment #1

I  made a some backgrounds with ecoline brushpens and my gelli-plate. 
You can see the process below. 

                                     I made some stripes on my gelliplate with different colors 

                                             and sprayed the ink with a little bit of water.

                          Here are my prints. The light pink one is for stamping with mandalas.

             Then I stamped with a stamp from Round in Circles, and used white embossing powder.

                                                                               Love it!!

                                         I cut four backgrounds and glued them on white cards..

                       On the light pink print I stamped mandalas with black ink and cut them out.

Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) These fine ladies have bullied me and some of my designers into a blog hop featuring our Sarcasm Superpower stamps. It didn't take much persuation, nor any bribes to speak of. Just mention  "challenge", and we'll be all over you like underfed fruitflies on a brown banana. Easel Card With Textured Flowers

Hello.  Welcome.  Gail from the design team here today with a project using the new Textured Flowers stamps.  I loved these the moment I saw them.  Big beautiful blooms.  And many small er stamps for adding leaves and texture.   I decided to make a Twisted Easel Card.  There are many tutorials available but I used this one by Lois.  So here's my card using Textured Flowers and of course, a giraffe .......... I was inspired by the Rubber Dance challenge colours which for June are: I stamped the large simple daisy, masked and stamped two more.  I added the giraffe from African Animals .  I think I'll call her Daisy. I thought it looked a bit empty so I stamped more daisies...... and coloured with distress and d y e inks.  I stamped and embossed three of the doodled flowers and the giraffe, fussy cut and added them to my panel.  I used brads and a Cheery Lynn die cut for the flower centers.  I also doodled a little faux stitching
