Starting a Mini-Art Journal – Creating the Cover with Farida

Image
Hi dear crafters. It's Farida.  I'm so happy to see you again here.  I would love to show you how I have created my Mini Art Journal Cover using Carved Collection # 1 stamp set .  I started by cutting out the Mini Album Cover and pages out of water colour paper, because this paper is thick enough to handle a lot of water and can be used just fine for mixed media projects. On this blank white water colour paper cover piece I sprayed a lot of water . Afterwards I used a few matching bright colours from my water colour pens.  I added them here and there over the paper and let them melt into each other. Just love to see all this bright colour splashes and colour drops. Such an dynamic background. And to add even more interest and visual texture I grabbed the stamps from the Carved Collection # 1 stamp set, some matching ink pads and stamped the images all over the cover.  Last, but not least, I assembled the Mini Art Journal.   As I love flowers I though...

ATCs Album with Sketchy Flowers by Priss BlaFu

Image
Hello, Rubber's friends!!! Priss here with new inspiration for you with the lovely   Sketchy Flowers 1   set I love collecting ATCs from all my Crafty Friends and I needed a new place to store them. So I took a pokemon card album and tuned it to create a beautiful ATCs Album You just need to take some fabrics and ribbons to create a beautiful collage with them. Then glue all of them over your album and make some marks with texture paste and a stencil. I prepared a collage with different pieces of scrapbook paper and I sewed them here and there with my sewing machine. Then I glue it over my album. I stamped the Sketchy Flowers #1 set with permanent ink on watercolour paper and then I coloured them with my Lindy's as watercolours, and finally fussy cut all the pieces.  And now, just make the composition with all the flowers and leaves. I hope you like the album and it inspires you to make one of your own. Do not miss joining our Rubber Dance Stamping...

Easter Greetings by Angie Coomber

Image
Hello arty friends, how are you? Today I have made an Easter card, I hope you like it. I started by creating some backgrounds with my Colour Burst powders, I hadn't used these for ages and forgot how much I liked them. I chose the areas I liked the most and stamped my images, then cut them out. I used the circle stamp and crystal embossing powder to create a background. I also stamped a "garland" and embossed it with green embossing powder.  Next I arranged the images on the card and glued them down once I was happy with the composition.  Finally I added a little Easter greeting. Here's hoping for a lovely spring! Hugs from Angie x Stamps used: Textured Birds   Flowers Gone Wild  Round in circles  Loose Florals  Doodle Borders #1

Adventure art journal page

Hi friends!  Lisa today to share with you my new art journal inspiration for Rubber Dance design team!  To start I brushed white gesso on my page. I took my favorite watercolors and I used yellow and blue colours together to get other nuances. Then I used Mixed Media Marks and Vintage Script stamp sets with archival inks. On a piece of watercolor paper I stamped a flower from Inky Flowers stamp set, I coloured it with watercolors and I used it as my focal point on the page.  I glued my title from Journal Words stamp sets and finally I made splatters with liquid acrylics. I used these products from the shop:  https://www.rubberdance.de/single-stamps-1/vintage-script/#cc-m-product-13971327833 https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/inky-flowers/#cc-m-product-14383087433 https://www.rubberdance.de/small-sheets/journal-words/#cc-m-product-14204763033 https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/mixed-media-marks/#cc-m-product-14348286233 I hope you enjoyed my art journal in...

Egg Card with This Is Me by Gail

Image
Hello Rubber Dance friends.  Gail here today.  I'm feeling the Easter vibes so I made an egg shaped card with paint and vellum and Rubber Dance stamps, of course!!   I've used Rubber Dance This is Me , Vintage Script and Choose To Be Happy sentiment stamps. I started by brayering red, yellow and ochre acrylic paint onto card.  Then I added some red and black smears using an old credit card.  When the paint was dry I cut an egg shape using a die.  All my stamping is black archival on yellow vellum.  I stamped the Vintage Script on some pieces of yellow vellum I cut with a grass die, to give a nice jagged edge.  I stamped the sentiment on another piece of the yellow vellum and ripped the edges.  I used pritstick to glue the vellum to the 'egg'.  I stamped the girl from This is Me on pink pearlescent card and again on more of the yellow vellum.  I fussy cut both, then also fussy cut the face from the hair on the yellow vellum vers...

Mixed Media Grungy Butterflies Spring TAGs

Image
Hello Rubber Dance Friends, it's Dunja today to show you some easy and fun Mixed Media Tags. I'm using a sheet of Gelprint, it's A4 size and I cut out four tags 2.5" wide. The Grungy Butterflies are awesome and they made it to todays Tags. I've just stamped them onto my leftover from the Gelprint and cut them out.  In the background I used another stencil, texture paste and embossing powder on the gel print, this gives more dimension. I also used the  Journal Words   as well the Grungy Stuff and StazOn Inks I hope you like the Mixed Media Tags :) You can use them for a little gift in spring, for easter, ...whatever you like :) The Sentiments I've used are from the Mix A Sentiment #1 and Mix A Sentiment #2 Stampsets Enjoy your day, happy crafting everyone and do not miss to join our Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge on Facebook. :)) I've used all these stamps on my Tags: Mix A Sentiment #1 Mix A Sentiment #2 Journal Words Small Grungy Butterflies Grungy Stuff...

Mini Art Journaling

Image
Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration Wednesday. How's everybody?         I've been playing with  Doodle Flowers ,  Grungy Stuff ,  Pencil marks # 1  and  Pencil marks # 2  to create a page in my little art journal. I  hope you like. I started by cutting watercolor paper into a square, 4x4 inch format, adding color with pigments. To speed up the drying process, help me with a dryer.  To add texture, use multiple stamps with inks in shades similar to the background. To integrate, blank embossing, which also brings light to the page. Finally I color with watercolor pencils the flower, the protagonist of my page. Here are the Rubber Dance Stamps I used: Pencils Marks #1  Pencil marks # 2 Grungy Stuff Doodle Flowers I hope you enjoyed and dont´t forget to visit regularly. The team has amazing inspirations every day, just for you.
