Artsy Textured Flower Cards by Ellie Knol

For todays' cards I, Ellie, chose to work in a bit of a CAS style as the background matched these stamps so beautifully, and as far as I am concerned, any extra color would distract from the beauty of the stamps.   

The steps are not too difficult: 

Start out by stamping the flowers and leaves you think you might want to use onto white cardstock and fussy cut them. 

Stamp the flower images onto a background.
This background is a cleanup page of paints off the brayer used while monoprinting/gelliprinting. 

I was not sure whether I would use the fussycut images, but could lay them onto the background to choose whether I wanted to have a white flower, or the stamped-onto-the-colorful-background version. 

To make it pop, I decided to adhere two fussy cut flowers, and leave the other one with just the stamping on the background. 

The second card started out the same as the first one. 

Adhere part of the background of both cards around the folded edge to the backside of the card. 

On this second card I adhered only one fussycut flower over the stamped image. 

 Stamp a script, Art Defined, on the front and inside of the cards (and an additional flower on the inside) as shown.

Easy right?!
