Summer Memory Mini Album by Farida

 Hello lovlies,

wonderful to see you here again. Atthe place where I live, suddenly summer was over and the waether began to really autumn like - rainy and greyish.

I made a couple of photos this summer, so I wanted to keep this memory in a little mini album. 


The cover I decorarted using the textured sea creatures stamp set, that has been new in my stash :) So lovely stamp set. 


I started by stamping the images with an alcohol friendly ink pad on to some marker paper. An dcoloured them in using my favourite colouring medium - the alcohl markers. 


Love all this diffrent sea creatures that also comes in diffrent sizes in this set. And with colouring in a couple of them my sheet started to get so colourful, though I only used some muted colours. 


On the back of my mini album I just added this two cuties....


... and on the front some more :)

Happiness is a state of mind - Art Journal Page

Hello Everyone, Shilpa from the Design Team here. I am sharing with you a journal spread, for which I've used Rubber Dance Nostalgic Couples , Something Wonderful and few other stamp sets. Here's my procedure... To make the texture on the journal page, first I cut out this piece using a die. I adhered that die cut pieces on pages and applied embossing paste through stencil.  Let it dry completely.   To bring colours to the page I spritzed randomly with  Peacock Feather, Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans and Vintage Photo distress inks. To create one more layer I stamped circles and text on the page. In addition I applied colours from distress crayons to create depth. I stamped the Nostalgic Couple on another paper with black archival ink and coloured it with distress markers.   I adhered a few embellishments and ephemera and layered the lovely couple image onto it. Back from The Netherlands

Hello everyone! It's Bibi here today, typing to you from my new keyboard .... Isn't that speck-tacular?  But what does my "new" keyboard have to do with my trip to The Netherlands? Keep reading and you'll soon find out ... As our regular blog readers will know, I spent a week in The Netherlands earlier this month. The main reason I went there was so I could go to the ARTSpecially stamp show in Nijkerk to meet my Dutch retailer - Marian, who owns Hobbycompleet de Duif . But before that, my sweetheart and I spent some days in Amsterdam, one of my fave places in the world! The huge "I amsterdam" letters on the plaza behind Rijksmuseum (National Gallery). Any toursist with respect for herself will take 100's of photos of those letters.... I Wish I Could Art Journal - by Bibi

Hey everyone! I'm not sure whether what I've made for today can be called an art journal page or altered canvas, because it's really neither .. It's not a page in a journal and the "canvas" is a piece of cardboard, so... maybe it's a hybrid of sorts. No matter what it's called, here it is! And this is what it looks like with the guitar flap open: The reason why I made this .. "whatever it's called" .... is that I've had this bundle of guitar string-looking wire lying on the floor in my studio for some time. Yes, on the floor! (If you thought I'm a very neat and tidy person, I'm sorry to burst the illusion). I've no idea where that wire bundle came from, and I'm not sure why I hadn't bothered to pick it up... but I've looked down on it from time to time, thinking I could probably use it for something, some fine day... .... and then, a few weeks ago a friend of mine was visiting, he pic
