 Hi friends! 

Lisa today on the blog with a new art journal inspiration for Rubber Dance design team!


To start I glued some pieces of patterned papers on my page and I brushed a coat of clear gesso.

I chose Mixed Media Marks clear stamps and I made some designs with archival inks.


I made some scribbles with a black watercolor pencil and I chose a moth from Inky Friends stamp set for my focal point.


Finally I added a sticker and I made some splatters with white liquid paint.

The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

How to make a pile of cards in less than an hour! Hey everyone! If you are in need of a bunch of cards, I'll show you how to make them real quick and easy. Most of my cards took between 5 to 10 minutes to make! Sometimes we might want to spend a whole day making just one elaborated card, but now that December is here for real, some of us are running out of time ... It's better to send a simple card than none at all, right? Most of my cards were made using stamps from the Rubber Dance set called Watercolour Xmas . If you don't have that one, look in your stash and see what you can find that would work for the easy technique I've used. I bet you have some stamps that will work! (Or order them here - you should have them within a week if you live in Europe, unless the postal service is really slow right now). You will need watercolour paper for this technique. I Wish I Could Art Journal - by Bibi

Hey everyone! I'm not sure whether what I've made for today can be called an art journal page or altered canvas, because it's really neither .. It's not a page in a journal and the "canvas" is a piece of cardboard, so... maybe it's a hybrid of sorts. No matter what it's called, here it is! And this is what it looks like with the guitar flap open: The reason why I made this .. "whatever it's called" .... is that I've had this bundle of guitar string-looking wire lying on the floor in my studio for some time. Yes, on the floor! (If you thought I'm a very neat and tidy person, I'm sorry to burst the illusion). A Day to Celebrate + GIVEAWAY!

Hello, dear stamping friends all over the world!  Bibi here today with  THREE things to celebrate! Today is the Norwegian National Day , which is celebrated with childrens' parades and marching bands all over  the country. The proper way to greet a Norwegian on May 17th is to say, "Gratulerer med dagen!" (Literally:  Congratulations with the day ). This photo is from a parade in Oslo: May 17th is also my mum's birthday and today she's turning 75! After watching the parades, we're celebrating mum's big day with family and friends at her place. I have always made birthday cards for mum using the colours of our flag (red, white and blue), but this year I did something different and I know she likes these colours, too.
