BIRTHDAY CARD

 Hello friends!! Josi Tomàs greets you again. I hope you are well.

Today I bring you a new tutorial about a birthday card that I made for a very special boy, my little nephew. I hope you like it...

 

First, I made a background using Gelli plate and acrylic paint in different colors and Carved Collection #1 (Clear-002).

 

I tore up one of the papers and it was the one I worked on in the next steps...

Second, I did a blue embossing using Distress Oxide and transparent powder and Sketchy Leaves (Clear-003).


 Third, I put white modeling paste using a stencil.

 

Finally, I made different stamps (dots and text) around the project in black and blue permanent ink and put it on white cardstock to highlight the work.

I made the decoration with some beautiful leaves that i was paint with watercolor.

Special touch:  I stamped a leave on a book paper and added a buch of threads and a sentiment...

Hi there! It's Susanne today. I have these awesome  Distress Oxides laying here for about 9 months now and have used them just a little. Now I decided to pick them out and give it a go! Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour. I've used totally different colours so that I've got a choice of colours for my toppers. I've used metallics on this one and they are really nice! For the 'in between

Atc´s Textured Birds by Verónica

Hi everyone, Verónica is here. Today I come with a colorful and fun series of Atc´s that I have made with the beautiful  Textured Birds set .  Let's go step by step, so you can cheer up and make your own.I hope you enjoy it and you like it, it is done with great affection. We cut watercolor paper that measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches, if you prefer in centimeters 8,9cm by 6,4 cm approximately. Now we create the backgrounds by coloring with watercolors, pigments, or inks. I have used pigments dissolved in water, to give it a watercolor effect. When they are ready and dry we apply textured paste with some stencils that we like. In my case Distress Textured Paste (crackle). We can use the embossing gun to speed up the process or let it dry. We continue, we are going to stamp these adorable and cute little birds with a waterproof ink. Comes one of the most relaxing and fun parts, the coloring. You can use what you have or what you are used to
