Love Birds Card by Dot Leathbridge

 Hi everyone,

thanks for joining me today on the Rubber Dance blog.
Have you loved seeing all the Love inspiration so far this month?

I've another love card to share with you that uses the birds from
Sketchy Birds #2
as the main images.

For this card I've used a gel print background from my stash and added
a couple of birds from Sketchy Birds which have been
water coloured.
I cut the legs off one of the birds so that she looks like
she is sitting down, or nesting.
The hearts are from From Moo to You and they were
stamped, embossed and cut out.
There are 3 different sized hearts in this set and I actually
 use them quite often.
The leaves, from Crazy Flowers #2, were
stamped and painted with white gesso.
The eggs are from Textured Spring and have been
left uncoloured.

Here are a couple of close-ups for you.

This is such a pretty bird!

Another of my favourite birds from this set.

The stamp sets used on this card are:

This is a great stamp set if you are looking for
a little Easter inspiration.

My inspiration has come from our February
Mood Board.
I've gone with the heart theme as my inspiration
for my card.

What inspiration do you see from
the moodboard?

Thank you so much for checking out my card today.

A quick reminder that if you are in Australia
you can find a great range of Rubber Dance stamps
through Ink Art Designs (that's my on-line shop).

Wishing you all a really crafty week and I hope
that you are having fun with your Rubber Dance stamps.
Dot x
