Dream a little dream - A dreamy Art Journal Page
Hello and welcome, Anita from the Design Team here today to teach you a lesson..... No, I'm just kidding, ha ha.
What I really want to do is show you my art journal page. (I'm certainly in an art journal flow these days :-) ) And I want to give you some ideas and tips along the way.
My first tips for you: use another stamp and stamp inside a bigger stamp, as I did inside the petals in the smallest flowers:
The flowers are colored with Distress Ink.
The word dream is embossed with blue embossing powder.
My second tip for you my friends: Make your own washi tape by stamping image on Dina Wakley's Media Tape, as I did on the tape you see at the picture below:
Here I used the star stamps from the Textured Flowers set and Distress Ink in various colors

After I colored all the flowers I embossed them with clear embossing powder.
The beautiful lady got some red cheeks. And I used blue and black Distress Ink around the edges. The blue background is painted with watercolours.
My third tip for you is: When you make a background in your journal or on tags, make many, then you have finished backgrounds for later use and you can start on the fun part right away!
Do not know about you, but I get a little dreamy looking at this art journal page :-)
Stamps I've used:
Please visit the new Rubber Dance shop, it's awesome, it's just like a candy shop.
And last but not least I want to remind you of the challenge which runs until February 28th, where the theme is Layers. Click here to join the Challenge!
Thank you for visiting!
Hugs, Anita
