Image
Hello and welcome, Anita from the Design Team here today. It is with sorrow in my heart I have to tell you my lovely friends and followers that this is my last and final blogpost for Rubber Dance. I have been a Design Team member for two years now, and today has my last day arrived. I must admit that I am a little sad, but I hope I will see you around both in blogland and on facebook. Fortunately, I'm not completely out of Rubber Dance. I have been invited to make contributions to the challenge of the month, both the 1st and the 15th of each month from August, so you will see my makes, but I will not have a blogpost. These two years with Rubber Dance has been an absolutely wonderful time. Bibi, the boss is such an angel, very kind and helpful and supportive, and not to forget the rest of the team, they are such wonderful angels, each and every one of them. Some I have become better acquainted with than others, but I really think that everyone is very unique and amazi...

Come fly with me - a summer tag with nostalic batik

Image
Hello and welcome, Anita from the Design Team here today to show you a tag I've made with a pretty cool technique. I have to admit that I'm very very ready for vacation now so I feel that everything I'm doing now has something to do with summer and holiday. Come fly with me on a summer holiday 😃 But it really fits well as it is the theme of the month's Challenge. Here is a step by step how I did this tag: I started by stamping and embossing all over my tag with the Grungy swirls stamp, Distress Ink in colour pomice stone and clear embossing powder Then I heatset it And coloured it with Distress Ink in colours Mustard Seed, Mowed Lavn and Salty Ocean. The embossing is a resist for Distress ink. And now to the cool technique ; Take two sheets of newsprint paper, on e over and one underneath, heat up your iron (not steam) When the iron is burning hot iron the tag with the newsprint over and below, as showed on ...
