Quick Card and Tag Set With Curious Cat

Hello Rubber Dance friends.  Gail here today.  Hope you are weathering these strange times well and taking comfort from your crafty hobby.  Maybe like me you have been investigating some of those less visited corners of your stash and found a few forgotten gems.  I've used some very old but lovely DCWV papers and made a quick card with Rubber Dance's Curious Cat stamp.

I started with some DCWV Pet Stack papers.  These are very thick and great fun with lots of cat and dog theme patterns.  I actually have a bag of all the scraps from these and picked two which I layered together.

I used a dark green card base and cut the layered scraps with a square stitch die.  Then I stamped and fussy cut Curious Cat using black archival ink on white card.  I added a line of pale green rhinestone gems.

I still had some scraps of the green and the patterned layers so I used a stitch tag die and cut them both.  Then I used my craft knife to cut just inside the stitched of the patterned layer for the perfect mat.  Add another cat, more rhinestones and a bit of recycled silk material and done!!

Thanks for dropping by.  Stay safe, keep well and don't forget to join the fun and link up your makes using Rubber Dance stamps in the Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge.  See you there!!!

Also check out the Rubber Dance webshop.  There is a selection of stamps on special offer so hop over and check out the sale.
