Believe - art journal page with Loose flowers by Jessica

Hello.

It´s Jessica here, hope everyone is safe and well.
Today I have an art journal page to share with you.

I have used words from the Affirmations set and flowers and leaves from the Loose florals set as a focal point.

But I started the page with old bookpages, a stencil and modeling paste and colored it with sprays.
Then I finished the page by adding contrast. Some of the things I did was coloring the letters and dry brushing on the raised texture.

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too.
