O Christmas Tree by Samantha Read

Hello, Samantha here today and I'd like to share with you a wreath, it's made using bits of driftwood so it's a versatile project as it could be a year round home decor item depending on how you decorate, considering it's driftwood the Textured Sea Creatures stamp set would be an excellent project.


Back to Christmas....

I simply lay out my sticks around a paint pot to get the center and adhered using a glue gun. I then flipped it over and had lots of fun, painting and adding sparkly happiness.
I stamped the tree from Textured Christmas Trees and holly from Textured Christmas Green and coloured them using watercolours before cutting and adhering in place.
The snowflakes are parts of a Sizzix die, there are silver, sequin stars, sticky gems, glitter glue, splats of silver paint and glossy accents.

Hi everyone! It's Susanne writing today. I used Distress Inks together with some of our Crazy Flowers to create the page in this art journal. It's a watercolor journal from Kunst & Papier, it's one of my favourites to use with Ink and watercolors. I didn't use any gesso to prime my page. The flowers are embossed with white powder on watercolor paper. I coloured them in in complementary colours, by dipping them into the Distress Inks, to let them pop from the background. Altered Chipboard Butterfly + Giveaway

Bibi here today with a fun project, using the Totem Monarch Poppet chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts . I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project. Easter Time

Hello everyone Debs here. I'm delighted to start my Guest Designer time with Rubber Dance. It's such an honour to join the talented team and get to play with some of the fabulous stamps. Today's project is inspired by my favourite season spring, which has just started here in the UK. I love the newness of life which spring brings, and this can be seen all around me at the moment as the fields are full of new lambs and the hedges are carpeted in daffodils.   I cut out the basket shape and added the colour randomly with a brayer. I stamped it with a variety of flowers from  Textured Flowers  and then gave them a coat of white acrylic to ensure the colours are bright.   I used water soluble pencils to add colour to flowers. Once dry I added more pencil for shading. The basket effect was created with a white pen to represent wicker.
