Journal Spread with Four Seasons and Carved Whimsy Wood by Mariken

Mariken here with an Art journal spread and a tag (from the left-overs) for you.
I hope you like this tutorial!

Here's how I made the Art journal page and the tag.

I used an Art journal page and chose to use Four Seasons and Carved Whimsy Wood stamps.

  I made the background with watercolors, the colors are so beautiful and bright.

Then I used a stencil for some details. I sponged with Wendy Vecchi blendable inks.

After that I stamped with pink Distress oxide some words with Mix a Sentiment 2.  Love them!

I used watercolour paper and WOW! fine white embossing powder to emboss trees, leaves and flowers. Then I colored them with watercolors.

I arranged the leaves, trees and flowers on the page and glued them on.

Finally I used the Grunge Border around the page and stamped the words HAPPY and SPRING on a little piece of pink watercolor paper.

And then...what to do with these beautiful left-overs??

 Use them on a little tag! 

 

I made just some stripes on watercolor paper and glued my tree, leaves and flower on it.

Finish it with a line with a black marker and some ribbon or twine.
