Mixed media art journaling with video tutorial by Melina

Hello!

It´s Melina here today sharing a journal spread. I made a video
for you, and you´ll find it further down.
I want to believe it will be okay... Stay safe everyone!


I used quite a lot of Rubber Dance stamps on this spread. 
I used the Weed Love stamps in the background and the lady bugs from
the Things with Wings stamp set as focal points.


For my sentiment I combined stamps from the Affirmations and 
Mix a Sentiment #2 stamp sets.

Beautiful spring spread! In Norway ve look for thus ladybugs with the children during spring since they are kind of a gud luck charm:)

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too.
