Loose florals - Mini junk journals by Jessica Rosengren

Hi everyone, Jessica here with my first project for Rubber Dance design team.
So excited to be here.
Today I´m making two mini junk journals and I´m decorating the front page with flowers from Loose Florals #1

First I´m stamping some of the flowers and leaves from the Loose Florals #1
stamp set on watercolor paper with Archival ink (waterproof).

Then I´m coloring them with watercolor.

All the flowers are fussy cut and I found some covers with collaged papers in my stash. I have collaged old book pages, sewing patterns and music sheets and then put an uneven layer of white gesso on top.

I decided to chose one of the two covers and cut it in half. I selected some different coffee and tea dyed papers to fill the two mini journals and used a waxed linen thread to sew it together.

For the front I have glued some of the flowers and then sewn the stem with black thread on my sewing machine. I glued on some leaves as well.

To decorate the mini journal some more I have used some different stamps form various

Here are some more pictures from the finished project.

Here are the stamps I have used.

Have a lovely day!

These are so pretty Jessica. Love the blue flowers against the neutral colours and what a fun idea for the shaped paperclips. Hugz.
