Junk Journal Page by Angie Coomber

Image
Hello arty friends! I was recently gifted a beautiful little junk journal by a friend and have been enjoying playing in it so this is one of the pages. This particular page is a envelope which I decorated. I also made a matching tag to go in the envelope. I started by embossing the envelope and envelope flap separately (I put some waste paper underneath so as to not emboss anywhere else). I made a tag from a piece of card and a gelli print. I embossed the tag using the smaller tree stamp and one of the shapes from the stamp set. I also embossed the edges. Next I added some black splatter, doodled around the edges with a black pen, added some "confetti" and apiece of string on the tag. Finally I looked for a quote that I could split between the envelope and tag. Hope you like it! Until next time, hugs from Angie x Stamps used: Carved Collection #4

I used for my stamping clear stamps - Sketchy leaves .  Here are some close up photos: Have a nice day Kate

Hi, I'm Vero (@Vero.kt) and welcome to today's inspiration. How's everybody ?I've been playing with some of the   Rubber Dance  designs to create a page in my Junk Journal.  I have used  Mix a Sentiment 2  ,   Inky Flowers   and   Mixed media marks  1.   I  hope you like. On watercolor paper, I make the pigments react with water, and I use a dryer to speed up the process. Later  it's time to stamp with inks in tones similar to the background. And to add depth. imprinted with black permanent ink. I chose the moth from the set   Inky Flowers   , it is colored with watercolor pencils.  One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is  usually the part that takes me the most.   Hi, I'm Vero (@Vero.kt) and welcome to today's inspiration. How's everybody ?I've been playing with some of the   Rubber Dance  designs to create a page in my Junk Journal.  I hope you like it.  I have used,  Mix a sentiments 3   , Inky Friends   and   Mixed media marks . I have used different sheets, wrapping paper, notebook paper, silk and hand cut, in the photo you can appreciate them better. Later I prepare these papers to work with wet media, so I apply a layer of clear  gesso, if the one you have is white, it would also be worth it,  I use a dryer to speed up drying, and I apply pigments with a fan brush and make them react with water. On my work table I mix pigments with water and add them to the stamps to be able to stamp and obtain a watercolor effect. Now it's time to stamp with inks in tones similar to the background. And to add depth. imprinted with black permanent ink It is time to sew the edges by machine o...
