Gelli Prints With Shimmer Powder With Video Tutorial By Gerry

Hi lovely Rubber Dance friends, it's Gerry on the blog today and I have some fun Gel Printing Techniques with different Rubber Dance stamp sets and Nuvo Shimmer Powder.
(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Affiliate links may be used at no cost to you.)

In today's video I am going to work with Shimmer Powder on the gel plate. Shimmer Powder by itself will not give you pretty prints but there is a way that you can make gorgeous shimmer backgrounds with the powder on the Gel Plate. I show you some easy tricks and give tips, so be sure to watch today's video so you can see the full tutorial.

To make my prints I used two of the Ranger Ink - Gel Plate the sizes in this set are great for cardmaking. I also used the Ranger Ink Small Brayer and to mix the colours I used the Ranger Ink - Texture Paste - Transparent Gloss and American Crafts Silicon  Palette Knife which is another one of my favorite tools.

For the blue gel prints I used the Pick a Number stamp set together with
Nuvo Shimmer Powder Blue Blitz and Atlantis Burst

I used the Tonic Studios - Sentiments Strip Die Set - Thanks to turn the prints into cards. On the pink card I used Craft Perfect Glitter Card Opulant Orchid to add behind the sentiment and for some extra sparkle.

For the green tinted prints I used I Love Leaves stamps with Nuvo Shimmer Powder Atlantis Burst, Green Parade and Falling Leaves

I used the words from the Tim Holtz Christmas Circle Words to add a sentiment and turn the prints into cards.

For the pink, turquoise, green tinted prints I used Textured Flowers stamps with
Nuvo - Shimmer Powder - Atlantis Burst with Green Parade
Lilac Waterfall, Cherry Bomb and Solar Flare

Here I used the Tim Holtz Christmas Circle Words again but a bit different, another fun way to stretch your products.

I hope you liked this post and that you are inspired to dive into your craft space right now.
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
